I'm an Italian photographer based in Rio de Janeiro and my work focuses on collective memory and identity issues, by investigating political landscapes in visual arts.
I like to describe myself and what I do using the words of two friends of mine, Fiko and Dino, respectively: "her faithful companion, her camera, X-rays for due diligence of pain, animates the place where life stopped, not letting the oblivion devour it" and “It's the past caught in the lens of the present".

I received a Master degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography, at London College of Communication, University of Arts, in 2012.
The result of my research during the master degree, a short documentary "A visual comparison of Yugoslavian National Liberation War Movies" is part of the Research Centre NAM at LCC.
The final project became a monograph title Somnambulism, published by Kehrer Verlag
